I’m a Hawaiʻi-based journalist covering the intersection of social justice and the environment, with a focus on water, agriculture, community resilience, and the people driving solutions to our world’s most urgent challenges.

I’m also a recipient of grants from National Geographic Society, Author’s Guild, Fund for Investigative Journalism, Economic Hardship Reporting Project, and have been a fellow at the Institute for Journalism and Natural Resources, as well as the National Tropical Botanical Garden’s Environmental Journalism Program on Kauaʻi.
